At Sevenoaks Haberdashery, we are proud to support the charity Tools with a Mission.
TWAM collects unwanted usable tools, refurbishes them, sorts them into trade tool kits and sends them to the developing world for livelihood creation.
SO, if you have a sewing machine or overlocker that has seen better days please consider donating through us rather than disposing of your machine.
See TWAM's website at https://www.twam.uk for more information or click below.

At a time when we can all shop online – and have had to in the recent pandemic – we know that many customers yearn for a return to shopping for their creative wares in person.
For those of us who sew, knit, crochet and craft, we also often prefer to see a fabric in natural light, caress a yarn, or simply browse for inspiration. There’s something about the touch, the feel and the tactile joy that shopping for fabric, yarn and other materials in person can bring.
We also know that many customers visit the Haberdashery from towns and cities across the country, who would love to support the shop remotely, and that local customers have been unable to buy from us online during the pandemic ...
SO, NEWS! .... We are working to bring a new online-shop to complement our bricks-and-mortar store. We will update you on our budding social media, a quarterly newsletter and on this website about the launch of the online shop.
In the meantime, we want to serve you and help support your creative life. After all, we share your love of making! So keep in touch with us on social media – do tag us with your creations from the shop, or share our posts to fellow creative people.
... And if you can't get to the store, contact us and we can help you the old-fashioned way by ordering your supplies for mail order or local delivery.
